Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery. For your pet’s comfort, a perfect time to place a microchip is when your pet is undergoing a procedure that involves anesthesia.

How Microchipping Works

Microchipping your pet is a simple procedure. Our veterinarians inject a microchip beneath the surface of your pet’s skin between the shoulder blades. The implanted microchip is a permanent pet ID that will last the life of your pet. The microchip is read on a universal scanner. When the scanner connects with the chip, your pet’s personal ID code will appear.

Enrollment

Our team will submit your pet’s paperwork once the microchip is implanted. Your pet’s microchip ID code will be registered with the HomeAgain database and our hospital’s database. You will receive one year of additional services for your pet with the enrollment. You can continue the additional services for a small yearly fee. However, your chip will always stay active. Click here to be directed to the HomeAgain website for a full list of additional services.
